Gujarat Schools To Reopen In September
Schools and colleges in Gujarat, which were closed in March last year after a lock down was imposed to combat the Covid outbreak, reopened in stages starting from January of this year.
Classes 10 to 12, as well as lectures for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in colleges, resumed on January 11, with classes 9 and 11 resuming on February 8.

From Monday, all offline classes in government and private schools in grades 1 to 9 will be closed indefinitely.
The use of the internet for education will be encouraged.
The decision was made with the safety of students in mind, as COVID-19 cases have been on the rise in the state, according to a press release from the Chief Minister’s office in April.
Following a drop in the number of COVID-19 cases, many states have resumed physical classes.
A decision on reopening schools will be made soon in Delhi.
A panel formed by the national capital government to make recommendations on reopening schools has suggested phased reopening for all classes, sources said.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the recommendations of the panel will be considered to arrive at a decision.
