DR. Jairaj, president of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, said three Kannada films are expected to be released on December 31, as it is a Friday. “We will make a final decision after we have a meeting,” he said.

While many central boarding schools have Christmas holidays, several boarding schools have decided to hold online classes. Lokesh Talikate, State Unity President, Recognized Unsupported Private Schools Association, Karnataka, said that private school boards affiliated to their union have decided to support the bandh and will suspend offline classes on that day and hold online classes only.
